| A really huge improvement on the 56 is the ability to have complete cut off's for the EQ's for the HI's Mid's and Low's. You can turn on and off the EQ also if your in the middle of a mix or if you want your scratches to sound different or can screw around with the mids and highs for strange effects. It cuts off the lows and hi's so much you can even make your own accapellas its really impressive. You have the option to also turn on and off the FlexFXs too, also there is PAN L>R for channel 1 and 2.. This is for moving the signal from left to right speaker. If you look on the left you also see the AUX level.. This is dope for patching in another mixer or tables for a multiple user scratch session. The Head phone volume on the 56 is ultra loud and now has a fader style cue instead of the knob like from the 52.. I turned the knob when I was mixing I turned the knob like I was going to PGM2 and I blasted the volume in my ear I was deaf.. Also another major change I'll have to get used too, other features include Hamster (reverse) on all the fader and contouring for all the faders. In every conceivable combination you like so tailor to any DJ. A hot feature I have been using a lot is the channel reverse button what this does is reverses the volume faders to work on opposite sides it really fun to play with the settings and make the volume faders turn into regular fast cut and fuck with it.. This mixer has so many damn features I probably will never use but they are there if a need them. Transform buttons have new feel to them.. They were never intended to be used for cutting but you can if you want they don't feel good fro cutting and they make a slight clicking noise although they claim they don't. |

Another thing that was a major change was the master volume control which used to be on the front on the 52 is now on the top of the 56 for easier access.

| On the top is the older model the TTM-52, on the bottom the 56 has a much more simplified front panel. |

|
| the 56 clearly has a better design and layout of the inputs and now has the power switch as discussed before.: |
